Introducing The Unwired: Real Women. Real Comfort.

|Chloe Julian

A new series by Videris spotlighting women who are choosing comfort over compromise and alignment over expectation. These are the women who move through the world freely in thought, in style, in life.

Each edition features a story of someone we admire. From artists to entrepreneurs, mothers to movement-makers, they remind us what it means to live in tune with ourselves and what we wear closest to our skin.

The Unwired isn’t just about lingerie. It’s a mindset. A movement. And we’re here to celebrate the women leading the way.

For our first edition I am excited to feature Bahareh, who was part of our last Videris photo shoot. I love working with women who have a strong feminine energy and are at home in their bodies because when a woman feels comfortable in her body you can see that translated in the imagery. She is an amazing facialist and massage therapist, she makes her own divine skincare products and I think she is a beautiful example of a woman ageing naturally.

Tell us a little about yourself - who you are and what you do.

My name is Bahareh. I was born in Iran and now work as a holistic skin and body therapist. My true calling lies in healing through touch - both physical and energetic - and I combine this with my own natural, organic Bahar skin care products to support the whole being. It’s not just about skin; it’s about creating space for deep restoration and reconnection.

What’s lighting you up at the moment?

Stillness. Lately, I’ve been called into silence - not from sadness, but from a soul-deep yearning to turn inward. It feels like coming home to myself, where I can rest in quiet connection with life and listen more closely to the rhythms within and around me.

Do you have a favourite Videris colour or style, and why?

Right now, I’m loving the Bohemian Magenta - I feel powerful, energised and beautiful in it, which feels especially resonant as I move through perimenopause. When I first discovered Videris, I was drawn to Olive, but Bohemian is this new chapter of my life also day to day it changes.  I love them all and that I can choose.

What does feeling aligned mean to you right now?

Alignment, for me, is living from truth - saying yes or no not out of duty or the desire to please, but from clarity and inner knowing. When I make choices that honour my deepest self, that’s when I feel truly aligned.

How does comfort play a role in your everyday life?

Comfort - both physical and emotional - is everything. Whether it’s the clothes I wear or the energy I’m surrounded by, when I feel at ease in my body, my breath deepens, my nervous system settles, and my whole being softens. From that place, I can show up more fully and radiantly.

What does it mean to unwire from something - a belief, a pattern, a pressure?

To me, unwiring is about consciously letting go of the old stories that no longer serve. Especially the ones that keep my body in a state of tension or stress. It’s a gentle unraveling of conditioning so I can live in alignment with a deeper truth: that beauty is our essence - not something we chase, but something we are.

What do you most love about your body?

I love living in a woman’s body. Of course, there are days I feel the shifts that come with age - but I’ve grown to cherish my softness, my curves, and especially my breasts. As a teenager, I carried shame around my body, but now, in my late 40s, I honour it. Every part of me tells a story, and I celebrate the beauty in that.

What’s something you’ve learned from another woman that’s shaped who you are?

So much wisdom has come from sitting in circle with other women. When we release judgment and truly see each other, something sacred happens. I’ve learned that we all carry the same thread of feminine energy, and we’re so much more powerful when we come together with love and openness.
